WHAT IS AYURVEDA & METHODS TO PRACTICE IT?

Ayurveda is an ancient science to bring your mind, soul, and body in harmony. It was born in India and is the oldest form of medical literature. As per Ayurveda life is sustained by three factors: mental, physical, and spiritual.

You can live a healthy life by following Ayurveda in your daily life in the following ways:

1.Eat clean and healthy:
Many health problems can be resolved by changing our diet. Eating clean doesn’t only mean washing vegetables or fruit before eating, it means eating the right food in sufficient quantity.

2.Personal and Social Hygiene:
Personal and social hygiene is important for a healthy life. You can attain it by changing your daily routine, following a seasonal regime, and good conduct. Every season has a different effect on our bodies. We need to change our diet, daily activities, and sleeping habits as per the seasons.

3.Regular Exercise:
Physical activities are necessary for good physical, emotional and mental health. One should perform physical activities for at least 30 minutes a day. You can perform yoga for physical health and meditation for emotional and mental health.

4. Yoga Asanas:
Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines that originated in ancient India. Yoga improves your mental, physical and emotional health.

5. Meditation:
Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.

However, Ayurveda is more about improving daily life to live a healthy lifestyle. You don’t need serious medication or any treatment, if you consume clean food, maintain hygiene, and exercise regularly.
